All the world's a stage...even in retirement! The Wings is a charity home for retired actresses, where former stage stars await their final curtain call with good humour, grumbles and grace. When a new resident arrives, old friendships and rivalries are rekindled. Noel Coward's 50th play, first performed in 1960, was restaged with Lauren Bacall and Rosemary Harris. Full of terrific music, Coward himself said "...old age needn't be nearly so dreary and sad as it is supposed to be, provided you greet it with humour and live it with courage." Direction: Chris Hamley. Written: Noel Coward.
